Linda Edna Cardellini (n e Lorraine (Hernan), was born to Wayne David Cardellini (a businessman) in Redwood City. She is Italian (from paternal grandsons), Irish (from a mother), German and English. Linda was the eldest child of California, grew up around the San Francisco Bay Area. She began her interest in acting as a ten year old, after she performed a singing role in a school Christmas play.
