Kristen Anne Bell (born 1980) is a famous American actor and singer. Bell is an Michigan native born and fostered by her parents, Lorelei Frygier (a nurse) and Tom Bell (a TV news director). Kristen was born in Huntington Woods, Michigan and was raised by the family of a Polish mother and father that has a mix of German, English Irish, Scottish, and Irish. Kristen's talent for entertainment was discovered at a very young age. In 1992, she was awarded her first part in an audition for Raggedy Ann & Andy. Bell's mother introduced her to an agent prior to her turning 13, and she got her first role in newspaper advertisements and television commercials. Additionally, she began to take private acting classes. Bell made an appearance on the screen in Polish Wedding (2000) in 1998, as an uncredited actress. Bell went to Shrine Catholic High School, where she took part in both the music and drama club. When her school staged a show of The Wizard of Oz, Bell won the role of Dorothy. Bell was accepted to New York City for the Tisch School of the Arts for a musical theater course following her graduating. Bell left the university in 2001 and began playing the character of Becky in the film Tom Sawyer. Also in 2001 when Bell's debut appearance was in a credited film, Pootie Tang (2002). The scene she appeared in is cut off and the credits only show her. Bell made an appearance alongside Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
